Google has introduced the latest version of the Chrome browser for Mac, Windows, Linux, Android and iOS. It has many other features including customization menus for the New Tab page, compulsory dark mode and password checkups. Support has been added.
In the new tab page of the new version you can now add a background and design it better.
Google has offered a photo gallery and several themes for it. In this you can choose your own custom theme. You can control how shortcuts look or do not appear on your own.
Forced Dark Mode feature will show all websites in Dark mode as soon as it is turned on, even if the website does not support Dark Mode.
Google Dark Mode will not change the source code of the non-supported website, but will change the color of the website.
Google launched Password Cleanup Extension in February. It has been added to Chrome 78. This will let users know how secure a password they are using on a website. In fact, the hacked open database of Google passwords will match the existing password, if Google has already hacked the password, then Google will use it.
Other new features include tab hover cards. This will show you more details about when you mouse over a tab. This feature is better for users using the browser by opening more tabs. With the Click to Call function, the phone number is highlighted on the desktop web page and this number is sent to your Android phone. Not available to users.
In Chrome 78 Google is testing the DNS and HTTPS (DOH) protocol. This protocol allows users to be protected from spying by hackers. In addition to Chrome 4, the security feature included in the browser has been removed from XSS Auditor. This feature was released in 2009.
