Samsung has introduced a new and tougher life phone. This is the first time the Pro in the name of the phone means premium chipset and professional instead of big screen. This phone is for government agents and emergency relief workers.

The Samsung Galaxy X Core FieldPro (Galaxy Xcover FieldPro) is a MIL-STD-810G and IP68 certified phone. It is protected from harsh conditions and even worse damage.

Users can also add a second battery to this phone while working in the field. This second battery is also included in the box. The Galaxy X Core Field Pro has special buttons for Push to Talk and Emergency Requests. Emergency request buttons can also be programmed to send location data.
This phone can be used in heavy rain, with thick gloves and other emergencies.
This phone supports Band14, the FirstNet. This special channel uses Emergency Rescue personnel. He is currently running AT&T. It is being used by ambulances, the Chicago Police Department, the Seattle Fire Department, FEMA, the US Coast Guard and several other agencies.
It is not yet clear how much the XCore Field Pro will cost, whether it will be launched for the citizens or not. Samsung may provide it to the government only after the agreement with the government.
