Nanjing University's College of Engineering and Applied Sciences has recently introduced a new display. The display is extremely slim and elastic. That is, seeing a running stop watch and a caller's name on a smartphone will now be a thing of the past.
This new and immersive human-machine interface allows all of this to be seen on human skin.

Researchers have named it the alternating-current electroluminescent or ACEL display.
Flexible ACEL displays have been made before, but the main thing is that they can be worn on human skin. This display emits even more light at low voltage. It also emits less heat. The heat does not rise above 45 degrees Celsius, but experts are working to reduce it further.
