The Call Phone feature may be offered in the Google Phone app

A review of the new app file reveals that Google's own Phone Dialer app may soon feature a built-in call recording feature. Google will also introduce new icons, layouts, call buttons and other resources into the Google call interface for recording.

In the past, the stock recording call feature has been included in the Google Phone app for Android 6 Marshmallow.

Even then this feature has been included but it took a lot of work. It was completely eliminated in Android 9.

Many phone makers, like Shumi, add call recording features to their phones. Shumi recently announced that their devices sold in Europe will include Google's phone and messaging app instead of the company's apps.
